The Kentucky Board of Radon Safety administers and enforces statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The board promotes the control of radon in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and develops and conducts programs for evaluation and control of activities related to radon. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 309.430 to 309.454.
